terrible: VERY bad. When they are supposed to be reading loudly and they mumble I say, "That was terrible. Please read it again." When we do team reading or practice role-plays I ask, "Was that amazing or terrible?" Other grammar patterns used: "Teacher John, you are terrible!" "You are Teacher Terrible." Very clever.
